This WebQuest serves as an introduction for teachers learning about
WebQuests. It is used in classes and workshops for teachers. The class is split into teams of four. Within each team, each participant takes on one of the four stated roles. Working in cooperative groups, and having a role within that group is typical of many WebQuests. Sometimes cooperative learning team roles are things like time-keeper, notes recorder, and group facilitator. The roles in WebQuests usually relate more to the subject being studied. For example, for a science WebQuest you might have roles for environmentalist, scientist, politician, and public citizen. |
