"Technology integration isn't about replacing what we [teachers] do. It is about doing what we do better.  It's about teachers and how we teach. It's about students and how they learn."  ~ David Bowman

"Every teacher should know how to use data to personalize and customize instruction for every student. Without technology, that is impossible. It is not possible for one teacher to stand up in front of a classroom of 30 students and do that. With technology, I see it happening all over the country every day. First grade teachers, or third grade teachers, or eighth grade teachers are able to walk in, look at the data, and know exactly where every student is. And then allow the ones that are further ahead to continue moving along; help the ones who are farther behind, give tutoring and help in the gaps where they are needed."
~ Susan Patrick Director of the Office of Educational Technology in the Department of Education
