Internet Safety Ideas for Faculty?
Most of our internet safety curriculum delivery focuses on students, but a recent post from the NYCIST conference made me think about the importance of engaging faculty in this conversation. At my school we haven't found a good way to engage teachers in placing priority on grappling with internet safety issues. The New York state conference for tech directors includes a blog entry from Doug Fodeman which lists several scenarios for the attendees to discuss. I think it would be great to get our faculty discussing these scenarios before we have to deal with some crisis in student behavior online.
