Good Reading
Tim Fish recently recommended two books, Good to Great and Blink. Just started the former and it's an interesting analysis of what makes the difference between good and great organizations. The author, Jim Collins, analyzes companies that outperformed their market sector over fifteen years. He identifies common traits of these companies, one of which is "Level 5 Leaders."
Just borrowed a CD from our great county library... Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's, Supreme Collection, Volume 1. It's mystical sufi music, but it's also a bunch of guys passing time sitting around in a circle making incredible rhythm & harmony without electric instruments. If you'd like to see a list of music I like, click here.
